RØDE Rocks and Rockumentary in LA

I'm sure you're aware of the RØDE Rocks international band competition as well as the RØDE Rockumentaryinternational film competition that we ran this year.

Both competitions were a huge success with several hundred entries each, but even more significantly, entries from more than 40 different countries showing a great international cut through of the message. Of course this wouldn't have happened without the fabulous support of our channel partners.

Indonesia's Navicula (winners of RØDE Rocks) and Nuno Barbosa from Portugal (winner of RØDE Rockumentary) are in LA this week fulfilling their prizes. Navicula are recording at the infamous Record Plant studios in Hollywood with producer Alain Johannes and Engineers John Merchant and Francis Buckley, while Nuno has been supplied with a Canon C300 camera, a film crew, and the guidance of directors Jason Wingrove and Philip Bloom.

Of course we're documenting as much as we can online to keep our customers and brand followers involved in the action. Our Twitter Facebook and Instagram accounts are being regularly updated with photos and videos, such as the following clip from the pre-production meeting for the documentary.

I'd encourage you all to follow the action, as well as syndicating it across your own networks to help promote the message to your customers and allow them to see how RØDE is allowing people just like them to live their dreams.

We're planning to run both competitions next year, so any audience that we capture now will add to the reach of next year's promotion.
